Growing as Leaders. Strengthening Our Mission. Building a Better Ellis County.
Three of our Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County leaders — Board President Art Mory, Board Vice President John Allelo, and Board Member Annette Bartos — are attending the Lone Star Summit in Grapevine this week.
The Summit brings together Habitat leaders and industry experts for opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. Our team is gaining valuable insight through sessions focused on operations, fundraising, leadership, and the future of affordable housing, while also participating in networking opportunities and visiting the Exhibitor Hall.
Even as an all-volunteer Board and Habitat affiliate, we believe there is always more to learn and new ways to grow.
Our commitment is to continually strengthen the mission that began right here in Ellis County — building affordable homes, helping families achieve greater housing stability, and expanding the programs that serve our neighbors in need.
Together, we’re not just building houses. We’re building hope, stability, and a stronger Ellis County.
