Sue Allelo has called Waxahachie home since 2003. She and her husband, David, have been married for more than three decades and are proud parents and grandparents.

Sue’s professional journey includes work as a dental lab technician and banking operations officer before becoming a stay at home mom, a role she describes as her most meaningful. Her years of volunteer service include tutoring, church leadership, youth programs, foster care for animals, community events and library support.

Sue previously served on the Habitat board for three years and returned when the need arose again. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve and is committed to helping ensure that families in Ellis County have access to decent, affordable housing.
